What We Do

The Town of Shawangunk Democrats are organizing for a better community, state, and country. We work tirelessly to achieve these goals.

During the past year, we provided valuable resources on vaccine availability, and programs for emergency rental funds and financial assistance from Central Hudson; helping families struggling throughout the pandemic.

What We’ve Achieved

  • More transparency between the police and community through our work with the Police Reform and Reinvention Committee.

  • Organized volunteers to help transport people that needed assistant to their polling place.

  • Support candidates that care about and support our communities.

  • Provide scholarships for graduating seniors from Pine Bush and Wallkill High Schools.

  • Hold Meet-and-Greets with the community and local candidates.

  • Support local businesses and industries.
